We are so thrilled with the success of the second annual Elle’s Walk for Vasa Previa! We are extremely grateful for all those who made it happen. We had about 115 registered walkers, and approximately 200 people who attended the walk. Wow!!

We also had coverage on one major television station, and a couple articles in The Deseret News. The outpouring of support for our cause is truly amazing!

We are ecstatically surprised at how quickly and widely this message has spread to thousands of people, not only in Utah, but throughout the world. The foundation’s website has received more than 100,000 hits from nearly 10,000 users in 37 nations, from Afghanistan to Yugoslavia. We are now corresponding with several of the website’s users—women from five different countries who have discovered they are carrying Vasa Previa babies or have lost babies to Vasa Previa.

One of the inspirational stories that has reached us is about Kai Schuster. You can find his story in the Discussion Board section of this website. We are grateful to know that the efforts of the foundation have helped to save one life so far.
